It’s a frustrating feeling when you can’t look at an Instagram Story because it's expired and been taken down by the user, but even more frustrating when you didn't have time to save it before it disappeared forever. Luckily, there's an easy way to save your favorite Instagram Stories so that you can see them whenever you want without having to hope they'll be posted again or having to reach out to the person who posted it first. Take a Screenshot
1. Go to the story you want to save before it disappears. 2. Tap on the screen and hold your finger down until you see a circle with three dots in the top left corner of the screen. 3. Release your finger and then tap on that circle with three dots in order to share, download or delete the story as desired. 4. Downloading a screen recording app is the easiest way to save your favorite stories. A few popular options are Camtasia Studio, Screencast-O-Matic, and Quicktime. The first step is to open up the app and record your screen as you scroll through your feed. The next step is selecting which stories you want saved and then saving them as a video or GIF.
Use an Instagram Story Saver App
Instagram Story Saver Apps are available for download on the App Store and Google Play. Some of these apps allow you to save your favorite stories and view them later, while others will allow you to save an entire story as a video file that you can upload.
Save to Your Camera Roll
1. Open the Instagram app on your phone and click on the Story you want to save.
2. Tap the three dots in the top-right corner of the screen, then tap Save.
3. You'll get a notification that your story has been saved as a video clip, which can be accessed through your Camera Roll or by clicking on Photos in the top-left corner of your screen, then scrolling down and clicking on Camera Roll.
